Our Story

Born in Lagos,
Grown in Hackney

Blessing Adeyemi grew up watching her grandmother cook in Lagos — the slow-braised oxtail, the smoky jollof, the peanut stew that took three days. When she moved to London at 19, she carried those recipes in her memory.

Flavour House opened in 2019 in a small railway arch in Hackney. Five years later, it's home to 50 covers, a loyal community, and a menu that changes with the seasons but never loses its roots.
