This page explains what happens to your details when you use novacore-studio.co.uk. It is deliberately short, because the site does very little with your data.

Who is responsible

NovaCore Studio is a trading name of Greig Ohiaeri, a sole trader based in Essex. I am the data controller for anything collected through this site.

What I collect, and when

If you use the price builder

When you ask me to email you a quote, I receive the email address you type in, along with the answers you gave: the kind of business you run, roughly how many pages you need, and any extras you selected. That is all. I do not ask for your name, your address or your phone number at that stage.

If you call, message or email me

I will have whatever you send me, which usually means your name, your number and what you are asking about.

What the site does not do

• It sets no cookies of any kind.
• It does not track you, profile you or build an advertising audience.
• There are no advertising pixels and no third party scripts. The fonts are served from this website, not from Google.
• Nothing you do here is used to make an automated decision about you.

Why I am allowed to hold it

When you ask for a quote you are asking me to take steps before entering into a contract, and that is my lawful basis under Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR. I am not relying on consent, and I am not adding you to a marketing list. If I ever want to send you marketing, I will ask you separately and you can say no.

Who else sees it

• Google Workspace hosts my email, so anything you send me sits in that inbox.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and processes the request when your browser loads a page.
• Formspree receives the quote form and passes it to my inbox. It stores a copy of each submission, which I delete when I delete the enquiry.
• Stripe takes payments if you become a client. I never see or store your card details.
• Google Fonts is used only by the two concept designs linked from the work section. If you open one, your browser requests the fonts from Google.

Nobody else. I do not sell data, share it with partners, or hand it to advertisers, because I do not have any.

Some of these companies store data in the United States. Each of them provides the protections UK law requires for that, through the UK Extension to the EU and US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long I keep it

Quote enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted after twelve months. If you become a client, I keep project records for six years after the final invoice, because HMRC requires it.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you what I hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what I do with it, or send it to you in a portable format. Email hello@novacore-studio.co.uk and I will respond within a month, usually the same week. It costs you nothing.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. I would rather you told me first so I can fix it.

Changes

If this page changes I will update the date at the top. The date at the top always shows when it last changed.
